Hi! I'm so sorry to bother you...I had a quick question...if I remember correctly, you have a BOB stroller?? I think I have narrowed my decision down to the BOB revolution duallie. I know my extremely tall 2 year old fits (I tried her out in it at a local store). I know it is easy to turn, push, etc. My only concern is that it would be my only double as this one is quite expensive. I was also looking at the maclaren doubles b/c it is one of the only other strollers that fits my 2 yr. old, however it is strickly an umbrella type side by side double, and I really feel I need something like the BOB. Does it fit through most doors? It says it does, but it looks so big (even in person!). And is it difficult to lift in/out of the car (I have an Explorer). I would appreciate any feedback on the BOB if you have any! And if you are unable to answer, I totally understand! I'm sure during my 3rd trimester that might have been the last thing I wanted to do. :) God bless!! a.
ar and J's mama--would love to give you whatever insight you need on the BOB Duallie Revolution! I'm so glad to hear your daughter fits--because the rest of it is awesome! :)
It DOES fit through all doorways--I especially love the ones with the wheelchair button that open for me. Makes things much easier. We take our Duallie to the mall all the time and have no trouble getting through single doorways.
It is also no heavier than any other double stroller (except maybe for the Maclaren double, which is more of an umbrella with less substance). The stroller folds really simply and then I hoist it into the back of the car. It fits perfectly side to side in our Ford Escape, so I imagine it would have even more space in your Explorer. I actually fit it once in the back of my Jetta--though I did have to remove the back wheels (more of a cinch, though, than I thought!)
Overall, we've recommended this stroller to so many of our friends, who have been *really* happy with the product. Many of them use it as their sole double stroller (we do) and have given up on the their front-to-back versions (which are heavy and difficult to maneuver).
Look on www.mystrollers.com for good deals on them. They run 10% off sales with free shipping. We ended up buying ours as an end-of-year model and saved over $150 with free shipping. Excellent!! It is a great site... Happy stroller buying! Take care!
