To have seen my parents' home last night--one boy in the tub, splashing and crying; another running laps around the house, pantless in naked glory; another singing an Irish football fight song at the top of his lungs; and still another, dodging his mother for a fifth handful of chocolatey treats.
Oh boys! Oh grandparents! Oh great-grandparents! What have we subjected you to????

What is it I love so much about even years? Just something about them that makes me especially joyful--not to mention this is a leap year! What fun! I'm such a dork--take joy in the little things, right?!
