At 6 weeks, our sweet baby J shows no signs of being sweet to his parents during the nighttime hours. Just last night he was up every 1.5-2.5 hours!!!! To say GG and I are slightly delirious today would be a severe understatement. Praise God for my supportive hubby who rode out a lot of the night with me!! Hopefully this pattern will break soon...
Fortunately, though, we've been seeing more of this lately:
which totally makes everything worth it!!

Love to all the nursing mamas out there--I'm livin' it with you, sisters!
And God bless you all! Happy Tuesday!

thanks for the shout out. the hardest is when C-dog stays awake for 2+ hours when she wakes up to nurse in the middle of the night. Hoping that does not become a pattern...
Oh B-mama! It wasn't long ago that I was waking so often at night and thinking it would ALWAYS be that way...forever! :)
Here we are at 6 months and things are sooo different now. Still not the best sleeper in the world, but much better. So, try to remember, that it won't always be like this.
I honestly think he is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen! I'll pray the nights get better!
I feel for you but am lucky to be able to say that after about 3 weeks, my little guy was trying to sleep through the night...as a first time mommy, with all the reading I did, I used to wake him up about every 4 hours to nurse. After 7 weeks, I let him go and he was a champion sleeper up until a couple weeks ago. Now at 4 months he has started waking up for an early morning feeding again. Hopefully it's just temporary! I'll be thinking of you when I'm up nursing him in the wee hours of the morning!
I forgot to comment on his cuteness. I just love his cheeks and sweet eyes!!!
After reading the other comments, isn't it nice to know that whenever you're up feeding J, that somewhere, another mom is doing the same thing?
He is just precious!!! I will be praying for better sleep tonight.
Thank goodness God makes them so darn cute, otherwise one could go crazy!!!!! Glad the smiles during the day are helping cope with sleepless nights. You will be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as I am entering that territory! :)
Oh but he is so cute! I'm loving those pics of my very chubby Godson. If he doesn't eat every 2 hours how else will he get to be as big as his Godbrother ;-)
Prayers for you! It is so hard when they are not sleeping well. Things will get better, and I pray that will happen soon.
Big hugs!
