Today while working out on the elliptical, I was surprisingly overcome with emotions (endorphins mixed with mama hormones = craziness! :) I couldn't stop the tears as they fell, while praising God for all the blessings in my life.
I was particularly joyful when thinking of my sweet J and the immense goodness he has brought to our family. In just under three months, he has come and rocked our hearts with such love. And to think that he is the beautiful outcome to all of our sadness last September when we lost Jude. To think that J's existence is testament to God's great promise that He is with us always until the end of days, working all things for the good. Baby J and all of our boys are precious gifts, for whom I am beyond grateful.
For whom I get all emotional while exercising! :)
I guess its all in a day's work as a mother.
And today's work, thankfully, is particularly joyful (and tearful;).
God bless your week starting with today!

Oh my goodness! M and T are looking like such big boys!!! Especially with M's haircut. And Baby J is looking so happy! I know your heart is overflowing! So proud of you for getting back to working out. I've had this nagging groin pain since about the 6 mos of my pregnancy and 8 mos later I'm still dealing with it (PT and all). It keeps me from running and aerobics...I digress.
M did the first pose to imitate Superman (note the Halloween costume in the pic) And of course, whatever big brother does, little brother imitates, so that's why T was in superhero pose as well. I guess it was good practice for his Spiderman costume! Aren't they hysterical?
B- wonderful thoughts here and above about your sweet baby Jude and your new sweet baby J. We go through the same thoughts on our little baby Oliver and his giving way to new baby Sean. I tell Sean about his "brother" (we dont know if he was actually a boy!) and how he already has someone in heaven praying for him. It is amazing how such sadness can turn into such joy in just one year (We lost Oliver on July 1 '07 and met Sean on July 2 '08-- amazing!). Aren't we blessed? The work-out tears are completely understood by this little mama!
Thanks for the honesty, B. You are a wonderful lady, your men are blessed to have you.
