2008 Turkey Bowl Participants
As I'm sure it was with you, I stopped yesterday and realized I hadn't really paused to take a breather since before Thanksgiving! Whew!! What a fun whirlwind we've had... Our past four days have included shopping, a diner breakfast, second (and third) Thanksgiving "encores", a TNT 5+ miler on Saturday, lots of quality family time, putting up Christmas decorations and the tree (the little elves were SO excited!), Sunday evening church followed by dinner with friends... The list could go on and on. Serious FUN for all of us. I especially relished GG's opportunity to enjoy a 4-day weekend. It was the first in a while and he loved it (who wouldn't?) :)

And today we find ourselves in an Advent December and I couldn't be happier. This time of year is magical... and busy. We are going to have to reign in on our "extracurriculars" to be sure to enjoy the beauty of the season. As always, we will try to put our anticipation for Christ's arrival at the forefront of our holiday adventures.
