Prayers Continue

We are once again brought to our knees in humility for our friends and their daughter, Shylah.  I hoped to write with praises earlier this week when she was released from the NICU.  But then we heard the horrible news that she was heading back there due to a developing blood infection from her central line.  This is a very serious complication and one that took everyone by surprise.  She was recovering so well and our friends began to hope that she was closer to discharge...

Alas, she is now on powerful antibiotics and we are praying she can surmount this newest obstacle quickly.  She is an angel girl and so beautiful.  Just seeing her little face makes my heart leap out of my chest.  I want to be there to comfort her.

Lord, you are near.  Comfort this family.
