Escaping

I escaped the dull and blustery weather yesterday afternoon and snuck away to the beauty salon...
emerging a NEW WOMAN!

Praise God for no more ponytails.
Praise God for hi-lites (I can dream of living in sun-kissed Florida, right?!)
Praise God for change when the world seems dismally the same, day after chilly day.

Welcome to the new B-mama! She's here to stay for awhile! Hallelujah, hallelujah!! And did I mention the excitement of all three of my boys at their mama's new looks? They are beyond cute and have been so complimentary since.
Again, hallelujah!

God bless!

Looks fantastic Beef! We must have had the same notion because I was at the salon around 1pm yesterday getting 6 inches cut off!! It was great to have some time...no kids, starbucks, a great shampoo/massage & fresh cut.

You look awesome! I know exactly how you were feeling- I told my winter track team the other day that I had to hurry them through practice to get to an "emergency" highlighting appointment because I had been feeling depressed about my dark hair! Not sure if I'm setting a good example with that one or not...

cute hair! Did your hairdresser take some advice from T and use yogurt? JK.

oh and to answer your question, for sure no ketchup on FF or burgers... I know I am so boring and plain... the only time I eat ketchup is if someone uses it in a baked beans casserole. I do like barbeque sauce and usually eat it on my burgers. I would give anything to like more... I try new stuff all the time, but typically don't like it... I have come a long way though, I eat far more now than I did when I was younger.

Wow, I'm jealous my hip young friend. You could be in a salon commercial. My hair gets darker by the day and it makes me want to cry. I look at pictures from just a year or two ago when we were in Cali and wonder how it is possible to change color so quickly. But I am to chicken to do anything bold like you so have the same blah hair every day. Sad too, Blake's hair seems to be getting darker already. He may be a brunette by age 3:(
