Well, it's been a wonderful time at the beach this week. Ahh... the glory of summer and vacation, yet the fatigue that follows a trip! We will definitely need a few to get "back to normal" after our time away. I'm not quite sure what "normal" is going to look like, seeing as we never really found it before leaving on vacation!
No doubt, we will find our way in this new realm of three children soon enough. Nothing like a week away to show us all that we have still left to learn! :) Thankfully, God promises to walk each step with us, never to leave us, and to love us even in our greatest inadequacies.
Tonight, GG and I are off again to "wedding hop" briefly up in Princeton. Tomorrow night we will all officially be back in Gasperini-Ville to settle in before GG's work and M's little preschool begins in a week. Can't wait to write again from normalcy!
God bless you today!! Warm hugs. :)

Out and About
Despite the yuckier weather, we've still been having a grand time here at the beach!
Yesterday, we headed to the Virginia Beach Science Museum and Aquarium. The boys all enjoyed seeing the aquatic life up close and personal, though when asked later about what his favorite part of the day was, M replied, "I liked playing with trains." (What a surprise. :) T-baby seemed to really like the stingray petting tank, while both boys were in awe of getting to pet a rat in the reptile exhibit. Overall, we had such fun hanging with my sister, bro-in-law, and their boys. Nothing like family, just wished we all lived closer to one another!
Today the clan headed out in the overcast weather to fly a flurry of kites. Among them was one given to me by Mimi when GG and I were dating! We attempted to fly it at the Princeton Battlefield when GG proposed 8 years ago. Amazingly enough, it still worked and flew like a champ before getting caught on a beach house! Thankfully, we were able to retrieve it for future kite-flying memories... The boys had a great time while Baby J and I stayed back, nursed, and snoozed. His nighttime sleeping habits have been less-than-reliable lately, leaving me a virtual zombie during the day! Thankfully, we caught some shut-eye while everyone was outside having fun.
And below are two shots of my precious boys, including one of a sleeping squishie. Everyone is remarking how chubby his cheeks are looking these days! Too cute. He is the best and I am in love with my newest baby boy. :)

Hats Off!
We enjoyed fun in the sun on beach day #1!
The Gasperini clan headed to church, donuts, and then quality beach and pool time. Only this mama and Baby J managed to stay dry the whole day... Not for long! We finished the night with dinner out and then a belated celebration of T-baby's birthday. Nothing like cake to make us feel a little more at home while away. Enjoy the first of many shots! :) Happy Monday and God bless!

The Brother Smother
There exists within Gasperini-Ville a new phenomenon never seen before...
It involves kisses...
and scrunching...
and lots of love...
It's called the "brother smother" and our little boys seem to be perfecting it at an alarming rate! Poor Baby J, you have no idea what they're getting you into!
J had his first bath on Wednesday, followed by his first "go" at tummy time, which really meant he had the opportunity to fall asleep on his tummy. Not a whole lot of apparent interest there! lol. Too cute. Of course the latter activity involved plenty of opportunity for the aforementioned brotherly smother. Poor little guy!
TGIF today everyone! God bless!!

Annapolis Frolics
In the midst of our babydom, GG and I stole away this past Saturday with our precious Baby J! Flying under the radar, we bid farewell to the older two boys (who enjoyed a *wonderful* 24 hours with Mimi and Papa!) and headed north for a wedding in Annapolis! I know, I know, we're a little crazy, but you only live once, right?! :)
What joy we had seeing some of our most precious Princeton friends and watching dear Annie (a former disciple gal of mine!) and Chad (another dear PU friend) tie the knot. Baby J was a wedding hit and enjoyed representing the Gasperini boys as the youngest wedding attender! Too fun... Here are some pics capturing the beautiful evening and Sunday Annapolis jaunt:
The happy couple
Our dear friend, Claire, ahhing over J.
B-mama and GG--sleep deprived, but still able to enjoy the evening!
The Incredi-Daddy, toting J in Annapolis
Sweet J in the sling--could life be any better?
GG and I also had such joy focusing on our littlest man. He is the sweetest and slept like a dream at the hotel! Hallelujah for zzz's. :)
Quick Baby J note: He is like T-baby with the infant noises he makes, often sounding like a bleating goat!! Tonight I took him shopping with me at Target and I swear some of the fellow shoppers thought I had a small goat in my cart! lol. :) *LOVE* this little guy! :)
Hope you are having a fantastic week! Thanks for being patient lately with my sporadic blogging!! Hugs and prayers... :)

Happiest of Birthdays
To our happiest of little boys!
Happy 2nd Birthday to our first August baby, T!!!!
You came into our lives two years ago and we've been so blessed since...
You light up our world with smiles and squinty eyes and sweet words.
You follow the path of your brother, yet always add your own individualized flair.
Your hugs and squeezes melt your mama; you've carved a special niche in all of our hearts!
You are our precious T and we love you so!!

We had a small little shindig to celebrate last night. What fun! Some friends of ours came over with their son along with Mimi and Papa--what a great group and just right for this recovering, postpartum mama! :) T loved his celebration, the attention, opening gifts, and most importantly, his ice cream cake! Enjoy the shots along with a few extras I just had to throw in...
Here's a shot of T-baby at 3 weeks--what a chunk!
And here's a reminiscent pic of our newest scrunchface from last night!
The party house
The boys playing in the back
"Here, let me help you with that."
The only family shot from the party--J is under the blanket nursing!
Best part of the night--cake!
The proud big brother--mutual love!
All three "men" feeding J a bottle--Poor little guy!
God bless you on this Saturday from our Gasperini-Ville hearts to yours. Hugs! :)
